“I am writing to thank you and Southern Scapes for the extraordinary work done in installing a beautiful in-ground pool on our property in Southern Shores. Before we met, we had been working with another pool company for almost a month attempting to decide where we could locate the pool. The first time you came to our home, you grabbed a shovel, found my cesspool and suggested a perfect location for our pool. Moreover, that evening, Tom May Jr. sent us a scaled drawing of our home and our pool – amazing! You gave us a full and fair estimate, including all costs, and took care of all permits. During construction, you met and sometimes exceeded your timetable and it was a pleasure to work with you and Southern Scapes. I really appreciated how you would answer my questions in a timely fashion.

All of the work done in installing the pool – the cement work, the pool, the fencing, the electrical work, was of the highest quality and looks beautiful. However, as you know, the pool had a small leak which could not be found. This is where you proved you were a man of your word and your company would stand behind their work. In order to address this leak, workers had to come from another state, brace our pool, drain our pool, re-glaze the bottom and refill the pool. I knew you were reliable and not for one moment did I have any concern or doubt that you would take care of this substantial and costly problem. All of this work was done and the problem was fixed.
