The Outer Banks swimming pool and landscape contractor of choice!
Southern Scapes Pool & Landscape Design is a family owned business including Outer Banks pool and general contractor Tom May and wife, Christy May.
Our business began in Duck, NC in 1998. It has grown year after year to become the largest fiberglass pool installer on the Outer Banks and in surrounding counties. We sell and install pools all over Northeastern NC to Southeastern Virginia (Chesapeake, Virginia Beach areas). Southern Scapes Pool & Landscape Design installs swimming pools from Hatteras to Corolla on the Outer Banks. We also install fiberglass pools in Elizabeth City, Camden, Hertford, Edenton, and all over Currituck including Moyock. Southern Scapes has installed hundreds of pools of all shapes and sizes. Because we are a licensed NC General Contractor (# 64251), we can do the entire job… decking, fencing, stairs, cabanas, landscaping and irrigation. As a landscaping designer and installer, Southern Scapes works with our clients to create the complete swimming pool, outdoor experience.
Take the time to read our customer testimonials, they speak for themselves.
We sell only Latham pools, the world’s largest manufacturer of fiberglass pools… Blue Hawaiian, Viking, Trilogy, and Liberty. They offer the strongest warranties in the industry. No other Outer Banks pool contractor stands behind their work like Southern Scapes – giving our clients peace of mind. For more information and client referrals, see our Warranties page.
Because we are a long time family operated business you can be assured that we will handle any concerns that may arise with your project in a timely and professional manner, as evidenced in our testimonials.
We own and operate a 2 acre facility with many swimming pools on display. Visit our installed pool, waterfall, ponds and outdoor living display site.
Deciding to install a pool, landscaping, or create outdoor living improvements is an important decision. You may be able to save money on foreign pools, from pool cleaning businesses, or installers operating from a truck. However, when something goes wrong the savings can evaporate quickly.
